Mad Hatter
Costume

My goal was it to create a
Costume Inspired by my favorit Character from
Alice in Wonderland.

A costume in high quality,
I could wear on
multiple ocasions like
Halloween and Karneval.

I put together a mix of existing clothes from my wardrobe and pieces specifically made

I made:
the cuffs
the chatelaine
the brown top
the hat

Alice in Wonderland JR

While I designed my personal costume, I came across the stage adaptation
"Alice in Wonderland JR" made for children to perform and thought it would be a nice challenge to design costumes for a few characters.

For Alice iconic blue dress,
I looked at some pictures from the year where the book came out and combined elements to create this version.

For this version of the Mad Hatter,
I wanted to pay homage to the Movie from 1972.

His clothing is inspired by female overalls from the 70s.

Karl May

My local theatre group is doing exclusively shows that take place during
the 19th century in the American "Wild West".
This enables us to really focus on the details and to reuse costumes every year.

Frankenstein
A Dress for Elizabeth Harlander

Inspired by the newest adaption of "Frankenstein".

I challenged myself, to create a dress for Elizabeth.

I wanted it to match the costumes already portrayed in the movie and to create a dress that fits right in her wardrobe.
